Terms of use
These terms govern your use of FriendPage at friendpage.net. By creating a page or signing in, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Privacy is covered separately in the Privacy policy.
1. The service
FriendPage is a social network for people you know. You get a page, friends, photos, a journal, messages, and groups. There is no follower count and no ranked “For You” feed. We may change, pause, or stop features. The service is provided as-is.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old. If you use FriendPage for a school, workplace, or other organization, you also agree that you have the right to use that email domain when you join a group.
3. Your account
- You are responsible for your username, password, and linked Facebook or Google login
- Do not share your password or let someone else operate your page as you
- Do not create an account that impersonates another person
- One person should not run a swarm of throwaway accounts to spam or harass
- You can ask us to delete your account by writing to [email protected]
If you Continue with Facebook or Google, you also follow that provider’s terms. We only use those logins to sign you in and, for Facebook, to copy the profile details described in the Privacy policy. We will not post to Facebook or Google as you.
4. Your content
You own what you write and upload: posts, comments, journal entries, photos, captions, and messages. You grant FriendPage a limited license to store, display, and transmit that content so the service can work — including showing it to the people your visibility settings allow.
You are responsible for your content. Do not post anything you do not have the right to share. If you delete something, it may linger in backups for a short time. Other people may still have copies of anything you sent them.
5. Visibility
You choose who can see profile fields, posts, albums, and journal entries: only you, friends, people in your networks, or anyone. Public content can be seen without signing in. Do not treat a public post as private. Messages are for the people in the conversation; do not use them to abuse someone.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, or incite harm against anyone
- Post sexual content involving anyone 17 or under
- Upload malware, or try to break into accounts, servers, or other people’s pages
- Scrape, crawl, or bulk-export the service beyond ordinary browsing
- Spam invites, friend requests, messages, or posts
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent an affiliation
- Use FriendPage to run ads, affiliate schemes, or a brand “presence”
- Interfere with rate limits, reports, or other people’s privacy settings
We may remove content, disable an account, or report illegal activity. If you see abuse, use the report tools on the site.
7. Friends, invites, and groups
Friend requests are optional. You may ignore or decline them. If you and someone else both Continue with Facebook, we may make you friends here because you are already friends there — you can unfriend afterward. If you join from someone's invite link, you become friends with them. Invites you send should go to people who would expect to hear from you. Groups tied to an email domain are for people who actually belong to that school or workplace.
8. Photos
Upload only photos you have the right to share. Keep files to ordinary personal photos (JPEG, PNG, or WebP, under the size limit). We may refuse or remove files that look unsafe or that break these terms. A Facebook profile picture we copy is treated as your content on FriendPage; you can replace or delete it.
9. Our rights
FriendPage, the name, the pine-green design, and the software are ours. These terms do not give you a right to copy the product, resell access, or use our marks to imply we endorse you.
10. Disclaimers
FriendPage is offered “as is.” We do not promise uninterrupted access, perfect backups, or that other people will behave well. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
11. Liability
To the extent the law allows, FriendPage and the people who operate it are not liable for lost profits, lost data, or indirect or consequential damages, or for more than the amount you paid us in the last twelve months (which is zero if the service is free). Some places do not allow these limits; in those places, they apply only as far as the law permits.
12. Ending the account
You may stop using FriendPage at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that is abandoned, or that we have to close to protect the service or other people. After closure, your public page goes away. We may keep limited records as described in the Privacy policy.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top will change. If you keep using FriendPage after that, you accept the new terms. If you do not, close your account and stop using the site.
